Road Trip Tip #1

When they say it is important to properly refrigerate your meats, especially sushi, they mean it! I didn’t. I paid a hefty price, but I did it all for you.

So, how did this act of stupidity come about? About a week ago, I enjoyed a tasty sushi dinner at great restaurant, which will remain nameless to protect the innocent. As it turned out, my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I ordered too many sea creatures. They boxed them up for me to take home and enjoy at a later date. I travel with an ARB Freezer/Refrigerator. It is a phenomenal product! You can run it off of either your cigarette lighter or plug it into a wall. It can either act as a freezer or a fridge. I’ve even frozen meats in it before! So, I figured it would be no problemo to keep the sushi fresh. Here’s the catch, the fridge doesn’t work via the cigarette lighter when your car is parked in front of a Starbucks while you are sitting inside blogging on their wifi hot spot.

To make matters worse, the fridge had not had enough time to cool its contents much at-all before I stopped into the Starbucks to blog. About a day later, I unknowingly pulled the resulting self-made petri dish experiments out of the fridge and gobbled them up. Two days later, Mr. Toad’s wild ride began. It ended this morning. Whew!

That’s right. This is the price I pay for being an avid blogger. In a way, guess you could say I did this all for you. If you blog, please blog wisely. Save yourselves! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!!!
