Adria > Thank you for kind words.

In fact, this vantage point was so relaxing that it caused me to lose my head & my tripod.

Dazed by the beauty of the scene, I ended up leaving my tripod along side of the road. I realized my mistake the next day. Figuring the tripod had been cloaked in darkness much of the time, I headed back to the desert to get it.

Alas, it was gone!

No worries, the replacement tripod is much, much better!

qureyoon > Thanks, Man! Will post another one of this kinda scene tomorrow. Hope you dig it.

Thomas > Thank you. Welcome to the HOV. Checked out your blog. Love your shots of Norway.

I was lucky enough to spend some time in Northern Norway a while back.. Lofoten Islands, Nordkapp, Hammerfest... Loved it all!

Look forward to living the Norwegian way vicariously through your blog.
