100,000 Milestone

100,000 Miles driven searching for America's church signs

As of today, I am pleased to report that 100,000 miles have now been driven searching for church signs all across America in the quest of the Send Me A Sign Photographic Project.

The 100,000 mile marker was passed while driving I-5 North through Ashland, Oregon. I pulled off into Omar’s Steak and Seafood to celebrate the momentous milestone a couple of rounds of delicious appetizers.  The calamari and coconut-crusted green beans were a taste extravaganza.  Oh, it was sooooo good!  More about that later.

So how fast were you going when you snapped that picture?

Do I detect a little photo shopping?

Congrats on 100,000 productive miles.

Sandi > I was driving approximately 108 mph!!

Okay, I wasn’t driving. While the HOV’s focus is photography, the mile marker postings contain a digital art image.

The Element is quintessential cool, in my humble opinion. Even so, the Element’s dash is not as nice as this one.

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the ride in the HOV for much of the last 20,000 miles! You’ve made it a lot more fun.
