Deep-Fried Cheesecake

St. James City - Pine Island, FL. Here in the HOV Lane, mentions of road-food focus upon the discovery of random deliciousness off the beaten path.

A couple of nights ago, The Waterfront Restaurant served one up - a coconut-encrusted, deep-fried cheesecake on a heaping pile of plump cherries and chocolate sauce.

At first bite, crunch goes the crust. Then, you’re lost in a wonderland of creamy goodness… You should definitely get your hands on this whenever you’re in Pine Island!

Wendy, very funny! It was better than it may look. Perhaps, you are viewing the shot via FireFox. It does tend to poorly render photo - washes them out.Â

I live near the Waterfront rest. Though it is at the end of the Island. If you love cheese cake or desserts, this is a must. It is to die for. Hard to stop eating even if you full. MMmmmmmmmmm

The deep-fried cheesecake is a beautiful thing, too. Probably best I don’t have it right down the street from me. Glad to hear you can have it when you want it!
