Lake Tahoe, California. Here are a few more shots from last week’s dog sled run. Our Mushers were twin sisters (Christie & Anna) who hail from the Lake Superior region of the great state of Wisconsin. They were both very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Christie and Anna seem to both be Master Mushers, if there is such a thing. They both started mushing as kids. Today, they both aspire to race.

Qureyoon > No and yes. These dogs are various breeds of husky. However, huskies are a mixed-breed. Tracing their ancestry, the staghound, foxhound, greyhound, dobermann and wolf have all contributed to the genetic make-up of today’s husky.
So, they are part wolf.
