Driving through America, I have the pleasure of experiencing many public displays of thanks for those who serve.  This one of the more inspirational displays of gratitude.

Madill, Oklahoma.  It is amazing to see how Oklahoma is blanketed in publicly-displayed horse statues.  Each time you drive up to another statue on a sign or in a front yard, it’s a horse - of course.

Driving up to another yard statue, a playful donkey provided a change-of-pace.

Shamrock, Texas.  What in the world is this thing?  It does overshadow the house and fills the yard.  Any thoughts?

Bluffton, South Carolina. Palmetto Bluff. Another one of the village’s “hoser” kids waiting until the time is ripe to wish visitors a “good spray.”
