Thank You, Timothy Post

Tim Post is a dear friend of mine. We met at Middlebury College as a couple of rookie students in the Russian language immersion program. It was shortly after the fall of the wall and we were both looking to learn as much Russian as possible before moving to Russia. If you ever get the chance, Middlebury’s language immersion program is a phenomenal experience.

Anyway, Tim recently rang me to share the details of his latest discoveries & pursuits. My conversations with Tim are often like rapid-fire forays into the deep end of the pool of possibilities. I usually leave our conversations inspired and thoroughly motivated to… well, do something — anything. This time was no exception. While I needed to do some laundry, I decided to do a blog instead.

On the call, Tim passionately shared his thoughts on the emerging world of widgets, badges and web blogging in general. I also learned that my friend now has his own web blog called Flying Seeds in which he shares his thoughts on the power of widgets. The Dr. was now in and Tim proceeded to school me with a 45 minute crash-course in blogging.

It was a wake-up call-to-action. Let’s roll together in the HOV Lane!!
