I Have Been Tagged!!!

… a couple of times over the last few months. A response to the “tags” has been tough to post while in overdrive, driving & shooting.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the new-founded blogger’s tradition of “tagging,” it is a get-to-know-you-better way of playing tag. When your blog is tagged, you are usually required to do something in a post that shares more about yourself or the world you live in outside of your blog. You are then required to tag a few more bloggers you’d like to get to know better.

I was first tagged by Kitem, a newly found virtual friend I recently met through MyBlogLog. Kitem has a great blog called A Garden in France.

Kitem’s tag requires that I pick up the book closest to me at the time of the tag, announce the book’s title and share the content of the 3rd paragraph on page 128. When she tagged me, I was in my Element. The closest book at the time was my Honda Element’s Owner’s Manual. The 3rd paragraph of Page 128 reads:

Accessory Power Sockets

These sockets are intended to supply power for 12 volt DC accessories that are rated 120 watts or less (10 amps). None of the sockets will power an automotive cigarette element. When more than one socket is being used, the combined power rating of the accessories should be 120 watts or less (10 amps).

Well, that explains a lot. My Element’s battery has been struggling for some time. In fact, my car’s battery recently died in the ghost town of Calico, California. A nice family from Sierra Madre came by and helped me out.

The Element’s battery also died a while ago in Westchester, Pennsylvania.

I have not been following instructions. It is a common practice of mine to run both my ARB Freezer/Fridge and various other accessories (Nikon battery charger, mobile phone charger, AA battery charger, GPS unit and a converter to run other accessories) simultaneously.

Kitem, now I REALLY wish I had responded to your tag earlier! Thank you for thinking of me and the HOV when playing tag. I’ve enjoyed sharing in the fun. Love your blog, A Garden In France!

The tag also requires that I tag 3 other bloggers.  I tag:  Earl of Earl’s World, Jennifer Young of The Apprentice Diaries and Sandi of Whistlestop Cooking.  Timothy Post, I’m adding you to the list for good measure.

Earl > Thanks for playing tag with me!

The “Saddleback Sam” concept is an interesting one. In my branding life, have experienced similar philosophy/approach at a few companies. Seems to be a great way to help an organization focus upon its customers.
