All is restarting at www.joshHOVLane.com. It will be a while before everything is back to how it once was in the HOV. But, now there’s a place to start posting anew.

This year is no different. The snow hit on Thanksgiving. The HOV Lane weather forecasts snow through the end of January, even after the move is complete to the new & improved HOV Lane.

Check out this post of “Harry.” It’s a shot of Harry on their window sill, but the screen in macro looks like reinforced steel bars strong enough to cage this wild animal. But, then again, perhaps it’s not a story of madness, but a story of sadness. Harry could have been wrongly accused and falsely convicted.

Previous posts tell a story of trial & fail. Tried to restart several times, but found it more difficult than expected.

Today’s new (old) read is Earl World. You should check it out. Earl, too, is a roller derby fan. Earl is also into photography and shares his shots on his blog. It is good stuff!

The HOV Lane. A blog barely alive. We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can make it better than HOV was before. Better…stronger…faster.

It turns out the HOV Lane either got hacked or something else went terribly wrong over the weekend. I’m guessing it occurred last night because that is when my notifications started to go awry.

This morning, I found that the top main navigation bar that listed half a dozen pages/sections to this site IS GONE. All the material and links that used to be in the side bar navigation ARE NOW GONE. Luckily, all the past posts are still here and available via the list of links that are now listed in the sidebar.

Wow, I have a lot of work to do in the HOV Lane to get it back to its original self.

I’ve learned a lesson here today. For all your bloggers out there, please learn from my mistake. Keep your blog install up-to-date. Either my database was out-of-date or the Wordpress install was out-of-date. I’m going to try to solve that one some time after work today.

I’ll still post the series about the great people and blogs during the rebuilding effort. The posting of photographs will start back up again soon, too.

This is a shot taken while taking some readings for the “shadow man” shot. It seemed fitting to look like a bandito, since I was standing in the “The Devil’s Golf Course” of all places.
